Existing System v StavePut
The Difference in Scales

The StavePut System
Both scales have twenty-one notes, but the StavePut System has continuity of note placement, and is a relfective image of the keyboard itself.

The Existing System
The existing system ascends and descends from its focal point of middle C, so in turn all the notes alternate, on the stave off the stave. This creates a visual shifting pattern of note movement and is not conducive for easy learning.
